HP openly admitting that it inflates the headcount of Vista sales by selling license for Vista but actually pre-installing XP on new computers. XP is no better than Vista in terms of user-freedom -- both are proprietary systems -- but this article goes to show just how badly Vista is struggling. Instead of installing XP, try to convince HP to sell you a computer without an operating system or urge them to install a GNU/Linux operating system instead.
