I like both these ideas and I will try to create these images.

I'm picking up Inkscape and GIMP along the way, and I can tell you, this is quite fun. As I'm a programmer and programmers are notorious for their artistic skills--namely the lack thereof--I hope the results will be bearable. ;-)
